INTEGRATED ACADEMIC AND ISLAMIC CLASSES FROM GRADE RR-7

We aim to offer your child professional Academic education, an equivalent of the National education standard, encompassing the CAPS curriculum, yet fulfilling the obligation of acquiring the knowledge of Deen.
A friendly and caring environment where learners are taught to respect and love all of humanity , and a sense of sisterhood is fostered amongst peers, allowing your child to feel safe and at home.
We also offer cooking clubs, Physical fitness education, MMA, STEM, and outreach programs to nurture creativity and keep the young minds active!
All classes are taught by qualified and SACE certified teachers and within the boundaries of Shariah.In short, all that your child requires of Academic and Islamic excellence.
Spaces are limited and are reserved according to earliest admissions.

Days: Monday – Friday
Hours required : 28 hours per week

Hours per day: 6.5 hours
Time: 7.30 AM - 2:00 PM (except Fridays, 7:30-11:15 AM)
Annual Exams: June, November
TIMINGS AND CLASS BREAKDOWN
There is a total of 6 hours of instructional time per day. On average there are a total of 12 periods per day. Each period ranges from a
minimum of 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the subject. Precise timings and names of instructors per subject will be communicated
upon admission.

Holidays:
The Academic classes will not be in session for:

March holiday
July holiday
The 2 Eids
December holiday
All public holidays

1. IS THERE AN ATTENDANCE POLICY?
Yes, Attendance is regularly marked for the all classes. In order to qualify for a promotion to the next grade, students need to maintain at least 80% attendance

2. WHAT CURRICULUM IS BEING FOLLOWED?

We follow the CAPS Curriculum designed by PLATINUM and the Guardian Institute.

3. WILL THERE BE EXAMS AND ASSESSMENTS?
YES, All students will be required to participate in the examination and submit all assessments. Assessments vary according to the subject.

5. IS THERE A FEE?

Fees per program may vary. Please refer to the fee structure for more details.

6. IS IT IN AN ONLINE COURSE AS WELL?
No, its fully in person classes.

7. IS TRANSPORT PROVIDED?

Ata cost, transport is provided to nnearby areas.

8. What are the teaching approaches used?

Teachers adopt the 5 C's technique: Choice ( having different material available for different learning styles). Collaboration (team work). Critical thinking ( problem solving). Creativity (the very essence of our teaching is to add in creative methods to aid learning and to create a PASSION for learning). Caring (teachers passion for subject as well as love and care for each individual student).

You can expect a safe, caring environment in which your child will be given an opportunity to per form at her best level while inculcating values as honesty and modesty.

10. WHAT DOES INTEGRATED TEACHING MEAN?

Madrassah Fatimatuz Zahra offers your child Islamic as well as academic knowledge at once. All academic subjects are also integrated with an Islamic perspective.

11. HOW DO I APPLY?

Visit the madrassah during the week(8:00- 14:00) or fill in an admission form schedule a date with the HOD for the test.

12. IS THERE AN INTERVIEW INVOLVED?

Learners are assessed at the beginning of the year to ensure they meet requirements for the grade been admitted to next.

14. IS THERE A UNIFORM FOR THE ACADEMIC CLASSES?

Uniforms are compulsory and available for purchase at the madrassah. P.E and bags are also available.
